Experience the tradition of Summer CampSwallowdale Camp is where adventures begin. Imagine spending a summer sailing, canoeing, or kayaking on a beautiful Muskoka lake, mountain biking through natural forest trails, or singing songs around a campfire…all this and more happens at Swallowdale Camp. Since 1943 Swallowdale has welcomed campers to its 39 hectares of forested hills and open playing fields on the shores of Fairy Lake. LocationSwallowdale Camp in located on Fairy Lake in the town of Huntsville. The camp is adjacent to the famous Deerhurst Resort. Huntsville is one of the many small communities found in the Muskoka region of Ontario, most famous for private cottages of a wide range of people, including Hollywood stars. Just north of Huntsville lies the majestic Algonquin Provincial Park.
Accommodation• Cabins accommodating 8 - 12 campers • Each cabin has a toilet, sink and electricity • Separate additional washrooms and showers located in central facility • Boys and girls are accommodated separately and placed according to age

Supervision• Staff live with students in each cabin ensuring adult supervision • Evening and night patrol is conducted by staff | | OverviewThe camp programme is structured around five 1-hour activity periods daily. At the beginning of each week, students select their activities from a wide variety of water and land sports, as well as specialty programming. Students attend their chosen activities for one-week blocks, ensuring that they develop solid skills in those particular areas.
Students who choose to take ESL (optional) receive language instruction for 2 periods daily.
On Sundays, the daily programme is modified to allow for group activities rather than the typical daily choices. Daily Activity Periods (included) Students select their 5 weekly activities from the following list. All activities are supervised and instructed in English:
