LocationThe village of Lakefield is located on Lake Katchewanooka, just minutes from the city of Peterborough. Lakefield and Peterborough fall within the Kawartha district of Ontario, a region rich in natural beauty and home to many private cottages and resorts. “Kawartha” is a native term meaning “Land of Shining Waters”. The camp operates on the grounds of Lakefield College School, a prestigious Canadian private Boarding School. | | OverviewThe camp programme is structured around five 1-hour activity periods daily. At the beginning of each week, students select their activities from a wide variety of water and land sports, as well as specialty programming. Students attend their chosen activities for one-week blocks, ensuring that they develop solid skills in those particular areas.
Students who choose to take ESL or Outdoor Education (both optional) receive instruction for 2 periods daily.
